Previous issuesDear Friends and Family of Grace Cathedral Community Church,
“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.” (Eccles. 3:1) We are now moving into a season of growth. These last five years have been an adventure in learning to trust God and today we stand before an open door of opportunity.
In June of 2008, God rewarded four years of perseverance by supernaturally directing us to our new home on Nebraska Ave; a building in move-in condition positioned near the cultural district of Flint Michigan. What a gift from a faithful Father!
As a result of careful stewardship of the last four years of faithful believers who refused to let the fire burn out, we were able to purchase the building on Land Contract. Now it is time for the church and our friends to come together. Now is the time for all of us, together as one unified body, to take the next step on our Journey of Faith.
Our Capital Stewardship Campaign is underway and our goal is to raise $250,000 that will pay off this new multi-purpose facility. I encourage you to join me as we move forward in complete unity, urging each of you in love to seize this opportunity. I am ready to take the next step and I invite you to join me in this Journey of Faith.
Kelly Richards, Pastor
“Our Father,
you have been teaching us to seek first your Kingdom, your rule and reign over all the earth. You have been calling us to join you in what you are doing. We have been listening. We hear you calling us to a new purpose and destiny. We stand ready to obey. We ask you to give us what we do not have so that we can follow you completely. Provision us to do your will. Cause heaven’s wealth to fall down upon us. Call us to a new level of stewardship. Bring Grace Cathedral Community Church into divine alignment with your plans to touch peoples life’s here, there, and everywhere. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
